A
team
reflecting
the
needs
of
the
future

Hanne Sølvi Rønnekleiv, Benjamin Folland Nielsen, Ørjan Tornvik, Ronny Leversund, Noah Hovland Stavø er noen av tilskuddene hos Fjord Base i år.

This year, Fjord Base Group has carried out several recruitments with strong applicant interest, strengthening the team across technical services, workshop operations, logistics, finance, business development, IT, and sustainability. The goal is to position the group for new assignments and market opportunities.

Needs are changing in line with new tasks and ambitions, particularly within offshore wind and hydrogen. That is why the group is recruiting subject-matter specialists, newly qualified graduates, apprentices, and leaders—ensuring the right expertise is in place in the years ahead.

Strong expertise added to the organisation

New hires have been made in both established and new roles, including the group’s first sustainability trainee and a security advisor responsible for ensuring that the handling and transport of dangerous goods comply with regulations.

The strong interest in the positions shows that Fjord Base Group is an attractive employer. HR Manager Marthe Opheim emphasises that recruitment is about more than filling vacancies; it should help deliver on the group’s strategy and strengthen the expertise needed over the long term.

An attractive workplace with clear values

In recruitment, emphasis is placed on candidates who identify with the values of reliability, innovation, and team spirit. These values also shape how the organisation develops internally. Fjord Base Group gives employees the opportunity to build on their skills and grow in step with the base’s needs—helping ensure a robust, highly competent team over time.

“The low hierarchy here means that we, as employees, are close to the decisions. It allows me to use my commitment to both sustainability and technology to develop future-oriented energy solutions for our customers in the oil and gas industry. It will be especially exciting to contribute to the goal of making Fjord Base Group a zero-emissions base,” says business developer Benjamin Nielsen.

The future is shaped by expertise

These recruitments give the group a stronger foundation for continued development. The team being built combines experience from the base with new competence that is essential for long-term initiatives. This positions Fjord Base Group well for new markets, new requirements, and more opportunities—within offshore wind, hydrogen, and other green energy sources.
