To ensure your safety during your visit to Fjord Base, we ask that you follow the applicable rules. Be mindful of ongoing activities to protect both yourself and others. Safety rules

Access

Unauthorized access is prohibited. The gate is open from 07:30 to 16:30 on weekdays. Access to port facilities requires an access card and identification. The area is under video surveillance.

Speed limit

The maximum allowed speed is 30 km/h. Within the ISPS area, the speed limit is 20 km/h. Drive according to the conditions.

Photography prohibited

Photography is prohibited in the Fjord Base area.

Personal protective equipment

Mandatory protective equipment at Fjord Base includes a helmet, safety shoes, and high-visibility clothing.

Parking

Use designated areas. In the quay area, parking is by assignment only and should be limited. Park with the front facing outward. Do not park next to ISPS fences.

Traffic

There is significant traffic with large machinery and loads. Please be cautious and keep a safe distance.

Walkways and access to quays

Use walkways where available and make eye contact with drivers. Access to ISPS/quay areas is restricted. Respect markings and closed areas when operations are in progress. Personnel, cargo, and vehicles may be subject to inspection before entering secured areas.

Waste and environmental protection

We have a strong focus on the environment. We encourage everyone to maintain order and tidiness, as well as proper waste sorting. Each company manages its own waste. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep a base with no negative impact on the surroundings
